Job security and workplace freedom are an inherent part of the Association contract and the overall collective bargaining process. The member contracts a fair day's pay for a fair day's work. Workers have a right to voice their opinion without reprisal. Given economic constraints, workers have assurance of a job until retirement; not to be let go after 40 years of age or other arbitrary and capricious reasons.

Dignity and respect are also allied to job security and workplace freedom. The Association contract allows workers to be proud of themselves, their families and their job.
